Ingredients and spices that need to be Get to make Chilli Paneer:
- 200 g Paneer, cut into cubes
- 4 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp peri peri masala powder
- 1 onion, cut into cubes
- 1 small capsicum, cut into cubes
- 1 tbsp garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp green chilli, chopped
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp soya sauce
- 4 tbsp Oil
Steps to make to make Chilli Paneer
- Firstly, in a bowl take 3tbsp cornflour.
Then add 1/4tsp black pepper powder, 1/2tsp salt and 1tsp peri peri masala powder. Mix everything together.
Now coat the paneer cubes in this dry mixture. (paneer cubes should be little moist so that dry mixture will easily stick)
Heat 2tbsp oil in a nonstick Pan and shallow fry the coated paneer cubes until turn golden from both sides. - In the same pan heat 2 tbsp oil, add finely chopped ginger-garlic and chilli saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Further, add onion and capsicum, saute for another 2-3 minutes. Keep the flame on medium-high.
- Further, add chilli sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, soya sauce, 1/4tsp black pepper powder and 1/4salt or as per taste. Stir fry until the sauce is combined well.
- Prepared the corn flour slurry by mixing 1 tsp corn flour in 2 tbsp water.
Pour the cornflour slurry into the pan and mix continuously. - Stir fry until the sauce turns glossy and thickens.
Further, add in sauteed paneer and mix well.
Dry chilli paneer is ready.
- For making gravy, add in 1/2cup water stir and mix well. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on flame. Turn off flame.
- Chilli Paneer is ready to serve.
Serve hot with chinese fried rice or naan. Enjoy
