Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Kadhai Paneer:
- For paste/puree
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2-3 chopped garlic
- 2-3 chopped chillies
- 1 pc chopped ginger
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2-3 cloves
- 1 chopped onion
- 2-3 chopped tomatoes
- 10-12 pcs Cashew nuts
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- For Gravy
- 1 tbsp butter/ oil/ ghee
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp onion seeds
- 1/4 tsp hing
- 1 tsp kasoori methi
- 1/2 chopped onion (dice)
- 1 small cup chopped bell peppers (dice)
- 50 gms paneer
- 1 tsp kadhai paneer masala
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp dhania powder
- 1/4 tsp haldi
- 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
- 1/2 tsp black salt
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- as per taste salt
- 2 tbsp malai (fresh cream)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Steps to make to make Kadhai Paneer
- Heat butter in a pan. add all tadka ingredients & garlic ginger n chillies & sauté it.


- Add onion, cook for 2-3 mins then add tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft then add cashews to it.



- Add red chili powder & salt to it. Switch off the flame and let it cool.


- Transfer to a mixer jar to make a paste.

- Heat butter in the same pan. Add tadka ingredients & cook.


- Add kasoori methi and cook for a minute. So that fragrance of methi mix with it.

- Then add onion n cook for 3-4mins. Then add bell peppers and cook.


- Add paste & all the spices to it.


- Add little water and mix.

- Add milk & malai to it. Cook well.


- Add paneer cubes and cover to cook. cook on low flame for 5 mins.

- Add chopped coriander leaves and mix.


- Transfer to a bowl. garnish with cream n coriander leaves.

- Enjoy with naan, kulcha or Rice.
